Peck Wood

Peck Wood is a residential centre set in 19 acres of beautiful ancient woodland in the North Worcestershire countryside, close to Alvechurch, 12 miles from the centre of Birmingham and 3 miles from the M42.
Mr.J.A.Patrick of Patrick Motors, donated Peck Wood to the Methodist Church in 1948 to provide holidays, training and educational opportunities for children, youth workers and the general community.
Peck Wood is a charity run on Christian principles and is currently managed by the Bromsgrove and Redditch Circuit of the Methodist Church
The Peck Wood website contains more information, including opening times for the popular bluebell display. The woodland is usually not open to the public, being recognised as a suitable site for uniformed organisations, youth clubs and church groups to come for weekends or full weeks.
Peckwood Forest Space

A welcoming, inclusive community connecting with God in refreshing and surprising ways.
We meet in 19 acres of historic woodland, that was donated to the Methodist Church in 1948 to provide holidays & educational opportunities for children and youth workers.
As a New place for new people, we are looking to encourage more people to find God through Nature. We believe in more exploration, less structure.
If you would like to come to Peckwood, you can join us at one of our 4 regular activities; these are :
- Seeds & Saplings (For under 5s and their grown-ups)
- Wandering & Wondering. (Walking & talking group with soup lunch)
- Forest church gathering (Monthly time of worship in creation)
- Forest & Friendship. (New this year, exploration based on a theme with a picnic)
You can find out about dates, times and what we are up to on our Facebook & Instagram pages or by contacting Jess, our pioneer on Jess.peckwood@gmail.com
