Haywood meadow 2

The Hayward Trust is a charity that was formed in 2000 to look after, in perpetuity for the village, a 2.5 acre meadow in Rowney Green that was gifted to the village by a former resident, Roger Hayward. There is a pedestrian gate to enable open access for people to walk in the meadow which has been named as Hayward Meadow

It is an ideal vehicle for further parcels of land to be owned/cared for on behalf of the village.

Alvechurch Parish Council helpfully gave us details of available grants and we recently bid for and received a grant from Bromsgrove District Council for a bird hide and picnic tables. Annette English, our District Councillor, formally supported our bid for the grant.
